In a matter of minutes, they'd formed separate lines for the immigrant and non-immigrant visas. We were let into the consulate only at 8 am. Went in, got the token, went through security clearance and later was sent to the immigration visa section. Was called for biometrics at 9 am. All my original documents were returned. The officer then asked me a few questions. - Who has petitioned? - What's your husband's name? - How did you meet? - When did you get married? I was then asked to wait. Was finally called for interview around 12.10 pm. There was an american consular officer as well as an indian officer. All questions were asked by the american lady. - Who has petitioned? - How did you meet? - Why did you choose an online marriage portal? - What did you like about him? - Show me your wedding pictures - Do you have any correspondence from before the wedding? And then she said, you're approved and you can collect your passport tomorrow. It was a very pleasant experience overall.	2019-10-01

Sent the requested Doc on 3/20/2012. Case Complete 3/22/2012. Waiting for Interview. On July 3, 2012. I checked the VFS website the status of passport was handed over to Blue Dart for delivery. Then I called DoS -AP has been completed and to wait news from Embassy. Exactly 8 weeks after the interview the passport has been sent. Now, we're just waiting to be delivered -few more days and this process will be over, at least for now. Visa Received July 6th, it was issued on July 2nd.
