Caane AA & TH Lewisville TX Lockbox Washington DC 2019-10-21 2019-11-14 2020-09-11 Yes 2020-09-30 This was a combined I-751 and N-400 interview. My husband went into the Washington Field Office in Fairfax, VA. I waited in the car in a nearby parking lot. There was absolutely no one in the waiting room. They asked him the general I-751 questions (where did you meet your spouse?, etc.) but did not ask me to join the I-751. They also did not ask for any of the supporting evidence we had prepared to show continuing proof of valid marriage subsequent to sending in the I-751 packet. They then moved into the citizenship questions as well as the reading and writing. He passed and received the Form N-652 Naturalization Interview Results saying that his N-400 application has been recommended for approval. He was in and out in about 90 minutes. With respect to the oath ceremony, we live in DC. So the oath is given by a sitting judge. The standard date is the second Tuesday of the month for oath ceremonies -- pre-covid. However, they are now scheduling smaller ceremonies more frequently. There were 12 at my husband's oath ceremony. The oath ceremony is at 333 Constitution Avenue, N.W. It took 3 hours, much longer than expected, as the USCIS officer took time to review each of the 12s documents, etc. 2020-10-06
SamIam04 S & M Online Washington DC 2019-01-22 2019-01-29 2019-03-20 2019-07-15 Yes 2019-09-10 Interview was very straightforward......took about 30min......civics test was verbal consisted of 4 questions, English test was also pretty straightforward......I had to read and write one sentence.......the officer was very nice and yet professional.....he went through my entire application ( luckily I had gone over my original application the night before and caught a couple of errors I made) I was able to correct those with him.....so good idea to do this before hand and I brought all original docs I had submitted with my n400 but he didn't ask to see them......he advised he will recommend my application for approval and the next day I checked my status online it said I was approved and in 60 to 90 days I will receive an oath ceremony date where I will return my green card in exchange for my naturalisation certificate......hope this helps, feel free to DM me....happy journey to all:) 2020-01-23
