Questions were very straightforward and mostly centered around the nature of the relationship as well as the standard Y/N admissibility questions on the I-485. We brought proof of ties in the form of photos and bank/financial statements. The case was approved on the same day. Fingerprints taken on 30 May. Rec'd notice on 7 June that we needed to re-take the fingerprints on 28 June, when we would be on vacation. I wrote them on 14 June requesting a new date. They notified us on 12 July that we were to come back on 1 August. We had fingerprints taken a second time on 1 August. Interview on 17 Sep was enjoyable and thorough. We were told we were all set and to expect green card. 3 days later received an RFE for a better immunization record. Did a new physical and submitted a new and complete I-693. Approval came quickly after. Status updates: 7 Oct: "Card has been ordered." 8 Oct: "I-485 Approved." 9 October: "Card has been mailed." | 2021-07-10 | |
