K1 | Washington DC | 2012-09-18 | 2012-10-16 | 2013-07-11 | Yes | 2013-07-19 | * 4/15/13 - at almost 7 months from our NOA and no contact since biometrics, we called NCSC to verify that our I-485 was forwarded to the DC field office. NCSC said they would put in a Request for Information from DC and we should receive a letter on the status within 30 days. *5/16/13 - Without a response from USCIS, we contacted NCSC again. We were told that the Request For Information (RFI) they entered on 4/15 had not even been sent to the DC office yet because our "assigned officer" was still "researching" our application. We were then informed that another RFI can not be put in the system until 45 days after the previous request: (30 days after the standard 15 day response time). *7/11/13 - Received update from USCIS that our application for AOS was approved with NO INTERVIEW! | 2013-08-19 | |||||
