Henry & John K1 Atlanta GA 2016-02-11 2016-02-21 2016-07-01 2016-03-08 2016-06-30 2016-07-27 Yes No 2016-08-03 It took us around 5 months until we got the interview appointment. After interviewing, we got an RFE. And it took us almost 2 weeks since we sent our RFE until we got the notice that the card is being produced. ...... NOTE: I don't know how USPS works in other places, but the USPS in my city is TERRIBLE!!!!! First of all, for my working permit, the delivery man put it in the wrong mailbox (cause we lived in an apt). I had to call the post office, called the head quarter, blah blah blah...the day after, he came back, checked again and realized that he put my EAD in a wrong mailbox. I was so upset, but the happiness of getting the EAD calmed me down..lol Secondly, they made a mistake again. We had to move to another place before my green card came. So I went to the USPS office and asked them to hold my mails. I stated clearly the date I wanted them to hold my mail, and made it very sure about everything before leaving. Then I came back to check my mail on the first time, she said "no mail", I came back the second time "no mail". I felt something wrong so I went to my old apt and asked the guy living there to open his mailbox. All of my approval notice, my green card, my husband's student loan were there. OMG!!! I was freaking upset. I am going to complain them when I come there and give them my change of address. People, please make sure with your usps office. They do not do a good job sometimes. (Happened twice to me..how lucky I was..lol) 2020-01-29
