POE was smooth. Peak period and I was processed in a room and I was the only immigrant in the room. 45 mins I was out.

Hey all..
So here is my review of my experience threw the Orlando customs POE.
I got off the airline and made my way threw the airport terminals to the US customs and border protection line.
Was not that bad stood in line for a max of say what 40mins.

I eventually got called up to an officer, i placed my sealed packet i received from the US Embassy and my passport down on the counter.
The officer never even opened up my passport and already greeted me saying good morning Mr Germishuys, was the strangest thing ever haha so i guess the cameras in there do scan and have facial recognition software haha.

Anyways he opened my passport entered some stuff on his computer and asked me what i was entering the US for.
I replied that i was there today due to my fiance and i are getting married and i am entering on a K1.
He laughed and was like shame man why do you want to get married?
obviously was in a joking way just to make conversation, but i just laughed with him and kept quite.
He reached under the desk and pressed a silent button. He continued to do what every he was doing on his computer and then handed me all my stuff and asked me to follow another officer to secondary screening.

We arrived at a frosted glass door which once she entered her code opened up to reveal a large room with about 20 or so seats in it in front of a large desk section with 5 computer stations and 3 officers processing paper work. I was asked to take a seat anywhere and id be attended to shortly.

Sitting there watching all of this and watching other officers randomly pick others sitting in the same section as me and taking them to a secure back room (for what i do not know) Made me sweat balls haha.

I eventually saw an officer pick up my file and open it up. He sat there reading threw the file and entering stuff on his computer and arranging things in an order.
He then looked at me briefly and opened my passport and with a loud Bang he stamped both my passport and my documents, he signed the passport where he had stamped and literally flicked my passport over the desk onto the counter in front of him, he got up took my file and dropped it into a box on the other side with a label saying K1 visas.

He returned to his computer called my name and said you can come fetch you passport and said follow me.
I got up walked to his computer picked up my passport and walked over to him standing by the sliding door, he opened the doors and said thanks see you later, and that was it done and dusted.

I was not asked any questions absolutely nothing.
The entire experience and the whole process was absolutely easy nothing to worry about but if you are a little of a nervous person like me it kinda sucked haha..

But anyways Orlando POE very friendly casual staff who do there jobs with a sense casualness and friendliness definitely, they definitely do not come across hard and to serious as if to make you scared..

Good luck to everyone further who still have this process to go threw.

the easiest time I've had with border patrol to be honest. the visitors line was moving super quickly and once i handed over the package they just took me to another room where i waited for a few minutes (i was the only one there waiting) for someone to check over my documents and stuff, they confirmed my contact number and my address and gave me some info on renewing my green card and that was it, i was out in about 10 mins. very easy, no issues at all.

i was super worried that the "alias" on my info sheet would come up (my old name, i'm transgender) but it didn't. i had my name change deed poll with me just in case it did.

Extremely smooth process, the Airport staff moved us into the normal Tourist lines but this was preferable as they were shorter than the US Citzens lines.
The gentleman at the desk took our photographs and accompanied us to Secondary Screening. At secondary it took about 10 minutes to start opening our envelopes (3 people, wife, daughter and me). We were called once to verify the address and after another few minutes we were called and told that we are “good to go”.

All in all no more than 45 minutes from landing to leaving the airport with our baggage.

Just a quick review about my experience at the POE in Orlando Airport with my k1 visa. It was really smooth as I thought. Lot of people in line but that's normal. The officer just asked me my fiancee's job. He tooked my fingerprints and picture. I had to wait in a Secondary room, which is not bad as you may think. They just have to review your visa and papers. It tooked 20 minutes. No questions asked. The officer reminded me to getting married within 90 days. I advicee to choose Orlando as POE. Good luck!
