Accompanied my Thai fiancee on her entry with her new K1. The officer in the normal visitor line opened her packet, took fingerprints, and did not even ask either of us a single question. We checked the "bringing food" box on the customs form as we had various Thai groceries, and the officer didn't ask about these either. It was so quick they had not even started unloading bags when we got to baggage claim!

Everything was smooth and easy. When we got off the plane, I stood in the "blue" line for people entering on visas or with the ESTA program for the first time. After 15 minutes of waiting I walked up to the booth and gave the officer my passport. She asked me why I don't use my F1 (student) visa anymore and I explained that I graduated already two years ago. She opened the K1 envelope, asked me two questions: 1) does my fiance still live in his address, 2) when and how did we meet. Then she told me we have until January 1st to either get married, or if I decide not to marry him, I need to leave before that date. The interview took around 5 minutes. Then I walked to baggage and got a cab. From airplane to cab it took around 30 minutes.

Walked into the Kiosk
scanned my passport and Took my photo and verified my Address(petitioner). Asked for help since wife came on Cr1 .A volunteer took me and my Wife to Separate line which happened to be for F1/visitors . One person was ahead of us. it took around 5-7 mins for our turn, proceeded to the booth and officer took the form and looked over my info and was done in 5 mins , I then Gave un opened visa package to the officer and then he asked ,; "wait where are u guys coming from" said Kochi India and we told the CBP that at Kochi (India)o Open the packet and we said u cant open it since it has to be opened at POE in US. The CBP opened the packet and it had all our papers we filed and then he took fingerprints of my wife and quickly took picture with it. He then went through most of the papers again . May he hadn't dealt with this in a while ? , he then asked was there any issue with medical and we replied No and then was asked what were u guys bringing like any seeds , fruits etc which we Replied No. He then again we through the papers and then Stamped and sign on the passport(Wife's passport), and said You are all set .
Roughly it took approx. 15 mins at the booth.

So easy. We were first in line, so no wait. The officer was very friendly, looked through our package. Asked where we will live and when is the wedding. Then sent us on our way. Maybe 3 mins standing there. It was great and easy.

Quite painless. Beneficiary walked up and gave the sealed envelope that she got from the consulate. She was not even asked for the CD-ROM. After the flight landed, she finished departing the aircraft, immigration, baggage claim, and customs all in 45 minutes.
