We had a 2 1/2 hour layover, there were multiple flights landing at the same time of ours and the customs line was very long.
I have Global Entry, so I took my fiancée to the Global Entry Kiosk with me. The kiosk wasn't working at the time, and so I told the agent that I have Global Entry, my fiancée is making her initial entry, and that she will need to go through secondary processing. The agent pointed me to the "special assistance" line and it was completely empty.
The first CBP officer took our photos, did the initial processing and then sent us to the secondary processing room.
In secondary processing, we waited about 15 minutes, the CBP officer called my fiancée, I went to the counter with her, and he told her that she has 90 days to get married, told her about the adjustment of status process, and sent her on her way.
We had to go to a tertiary processing area near baggage claim, because she brought her dog with her. The officer only wanted to see the rabies vaccination for the dog, and then we were on our way.
Total time: 45 minutes.

Picked out a single way flight with a long connection time which turned out to be a good idea. The lines at customs were substantial by the time I'd exited the plane and asked the helpful ushers on where to line up. It would seem there were multiple aircraft arriving in the international terminal with us from London at the same time, and I found myself stood in line for around an hour despite pretty much all the border booths being occupied by officers (mostly dealing with Disneyland tourists). As expected from reading other reviews, once I finally made it to the front and a booth, I handed over my sealed envelope and passport whilst telling the officer I was a K1 visa applicant, which he seemed to appreciate. He took a picture of me, then led me to the secondary area where another officer called me up after 5 minutes. He asked me: What are you in the United States to do this trip, do you know how long this visa lets you stay, what are you going to do if you don't marry in 90 days and finally if I resided in the UK. What was funny, and something which kind of undermined the officer's serious approach to questioning me, was his supervisor stood behind him. He recognized the sports shirt I was wearing and since he was born in the same small town in Kansas as the team, he started asking me joke questions relating to their football team, and if I'd tried certain burger joints in the town, at was all rather funny honestly. I wasn't ever worried I was going to be denied, especially with the funny supervisor, once the stern officer was satisfied with my answers, he handed me a sheet of paper which outlined the adjustment of status timeline, then welcomed me to the United States!

Awesome experience. Surprisingly friendly agents. Made jokes while checking my paperwork. Total time was about 10 minutes. They looked through my paperwork, asked when I was getting married, and told me I would need to file Advanced Parole if I needed to leave the country unexpectedly. Overall, very easy process.

I just waited a few minutes in line and was greeted by the immigration officer. He took my passport and scanned it. Was asked where my packet is but I told him that I dont have a packet as my visa is an e-visa. Everything was good and I was transferred to another officer. I was handed a paper and the officer just briefed me on some stuff. That was it. Didnt take long. Everyone was very nice and accomodating.

Me and my fiance traveled together to the USA from Manila. Immigration queue was shorter and we waited for around 15-20 mins. Officer asked my fiance when are we going to get married, where he lives, what was his job and he asked me what was my previous job and that's all, we then proceeded to go to our boarding gate for our last flight going to Ohio.
