Arrived at Logan during the evening on a tuesday. We were seated on row 12, and the plane was not even full so we were first in line for non US passports. Usually that can be quite a line. I already had my K1 packet with me, but I barely had time to put away my phone before we got to the booth.

Very easy and quick entry. CBP took passport and packet, told when the visa expired, and waved through. No questions or debate.

The process was smooth and I didn't encounter any issues, when I got to the booth at customs the CBP officer asked me if it was the first time I was entering with a visa, then he called another officer right away who brought me to another room on the side where baggage claim is located. I (US citizen) accompanied my wife (first IR1 entry) to the residents line.
