Interview day - husband usc and I, went early and drove by the office. We were 1 hour early. Appt time 2pm. So we went to get lunch and use bathroom at a nearby grocery store. Had to wait 15min before going thru main door. Security wouldn’t let us in until then. Went thru security. Then handed invitation later to a lady to log us in. The we waited for io. It took a while. Eventually, a lady came and called my last name. Jokingly chatted. Got sworn in before sitting down. Mostly asked hubby most questions from form i130. Then me from i485 and the inadmissibles. She was very pleasant. Talked with husband more. Took 30 mins or so.

Great experience. Had enough evidence and officer was really nice. She said she reviewed the file already and has no questions. Chatted a little about our relationship and our experience filing this by ourselves. Told us about the removal of conditions process and advised to file as soon as window opens and not miss it. She said she will approve the case today and we got the approval notification while we were in the USCIS parking lot. Overall 10/10.

Our appt time was 11:15a, we walked inside building at 10:57a and security turned us away and told us to come back in at 11:00a lol, Don't enter the building if you are more than 15 mins early for your appointment time. After security checked us in we waited about 10 mins in the waiting room for our name to be called. The interviewer was very nice and professional, (not intimidating). We started off by swearing to tell the truth, and asked me what my husbands name is, what we do for work, each others birthdays, what date we married, who was at our wedding. He just went over all the questions in the i-485 packet to verify if there were any changes. he asked what my husbands parents names were and if i had met them in person, asked how my husband and i met and how long before we decided to get engaged. He asked what we did for our anniversary, he asked my husband to verify the address we live at. We showed him our updated evidence, (pics, joint tax returns, joint bank acct statements etc... read complete review

We did our interview in a separate room for the agent who talked to us via video chat from another room. Nice lady. She asked lots of questions about our marriage, religious beliefs for vaccine waiver, etc. and was very thorough. She was professional, polite, and overall a positive experience. She told us about what to expect for our 2 year green card and to expect to hear in about 3 weeks. We were notified via email the day after our interview that our status changed...card is now being produced (updated day of interview)! We are so happy!!!
