If you are lucky enough to be having an interview here you can relax!
The staff here are professional, kind and welcoming.
My Fiance (US citizen) was permitted to accompany me through the entire process, which certainly helped with the nerves.
When you first arrive you need to present your passport, appointment letter and DS 160 at a little pop up stand outside they write on your appointment letter ; you are then directed through the doors into security. It's just like the airport security( put stuff in the tray and walk through the xray thingy)

This was probably the least painful part of the whole process, was in and out of the Embassy within an hour.
The team there are super efficient and lovely.

Interview took less than 2 minutes. They asked my husband how we met, stamped a few things, said he was approved and free to go, and that his visa would arrive via courier in a few days.

The interview was scheduled at 9:30am.
I was in the embassy at around 8:45 am (took southwest rail to Vauxhall station then walked alongside the riverbank).
The embassy was relatively easy to get to, I highly suggest taking the public transport rather than driving.
I arrived in the south pavilion entrance and my DS160 was scanned in, then went on to security. ( PS do not bring laptop computers).
I then lined up at reception and the lady behind the desk asked me for the following. DS160, passport and confirmation page. (She then gave me a number to watch out for).
I was then asked to proceed to the 1st floor then make a left turn then left again for the immigrant visa waiting area. I sat in the waiting room and there is only a few people in comparison to the non-immigrant side which was quite full that day.
My number was called and i pr... read complete review
