As all the other reviews have mentioned, the whole process was very quick and easy. Was there for about 30min and actually speaking to the interviewers took maybe 5 minutes.

I did want to mention the courier that the embassy uses to send back your passport. 5 business days after my interview I received an email from DX saying I would be able to pick up my passport at their 50 Chancery Lane location the next day. The next morning (the day I was meant to pick my passport up) they emailed me to say that I had to redirect the delivery of my passport to my home address, as their location is closed due to Covid. It doesn’t make sense why this was not mentioned in the initial email, as I could’ve easily booked my plane ticket to the US that day which would’ve been risky. It also wasted some time as I could’ve booked the redelicery earlier.

But anyways, I wanted to post this on here to warn anyone who might be too eager to book their p... read complete review

Hi all,

I had my interview this morning and it was quick and easy. The interview was scheduled for 10 am, but I arrived around 9:40 and was able to enter earlier. The security control was fine, although I had forgotten that I have a tiny swiss army knife in my keyring and they asked me to throw it into one of the bins outside the building, and pick it back later. They dont hold these items for you.

Once you enter they checked my printed email with the appointment confirmation, and then I went to the first floor. Once there I waited around 10 minutes until my number appeared on the screen (by the way, thed did not call me or made any sound when my number came up, so you need to check the numbers at the booths oftenly).

In the first call they asked me for my passport, only one picture, and my birth, marriage and police certificates (including the translations, if applicable). They took my fingerprints, and asked me if I had been in the US bef... read complete review

A little backstory: I (petitioner) have a chronic medical condition that has only been recently diagnosed in the summer of 2019. We filed our I-129F petition in October of 2019 and things moved swiftly from there. We were ready to schedule our interview for March of 2020. This did not go well. He had 3 interviews scheduled and canceled between June and August due to the COVID 19 pandemic. We were at the point of no light at the end of the tunnel. We took a chance with asking for an expedited interview via email on December 5th, 2020. We were granted the interview for December 8th, 2020 at the London Embassy. Holy Cannoli!!! Since there was such a delay from the shut down to now we knew that his medical and police certificate were out of date and we would not be able to furnish this at the interview. That being said here's the review:

Liam got to the Embassy about 45 min ahead of his interview time at 0915 am. He brought all the regular paperwork and an additional email ... read complete review

The day before the interview, 8 March, I traveled to London via train and stayed at the Travelodge Vauxhall. As many others have stated, it is far from anything special, but it provided a comfortable place to stay and immense peace of mind getting ready for the interview. I even paid extra for a late 2pm checkout just in case, but it was far from necessary.

The interview was scheduled for 9 March at 9:30am. Around 8:45, I began walking to the Embassy. It took right around 10 minutes. Immediately, people were already queued in the line and I decided to join them instead of waiting around any longer. I expected to be turned away for being so early, but the officer checked my DS-260 and passport, and wrote “IV 9:30” plus their initials on the DS-260, and directed me toward the South Pavilion doors. Here, I underwent airport-style security, and entered the notoriously heavy doors (that were not as heavy as anticipated).

I then approached the desk ... read complete review
