*I am the petitioner, writing this on behalf of my fiancé, the beneficiary who went for the interview.*
His interview was this morning, May 8th (exactly 10 working days after his medical). He was scheduled for a 10AM appointment, and arrived at the Embassy at 9:20AM.
Said that it was easy to find, and that Google Maps actually made it more complicated, as it wanted him to circle around. He went to the "welcome desk" at the South Pavilion Consular Services Entrance, where a friendly woman checked his DS-160 and passport. He then went through the airport-style security and entered the main building, where there are separate queues for appointment times that are on the hour and half past the hour, and workers who check your paperwork for visa type. He had stickers applied to his paperwork, and was directed to the first floor.
He was seated for less than 5 minutes when his number flashed on the screen, and he went to the first window to pro... read complete review

No issues whatsoever. The process was very fact, very few questions. We were told the visa was approved but they hadn't received the medical paperwork. They said it would be issued when they received it.

Super quick, smooth and painless (even though we were LATE due to a delayed flight!).
No queues.
Second person actually interviewing was lovely.
Nothing to worry about

I had my interview at the London Embassy and I scheduled my interview for Wednesday 25th April 2018, which left 7 clear working days between the interview and the medical, which was scheduled for Friday 13th April 2018, and was the earliest date they had available so I was waiting a whole month between receiving the letter from the embassy and going to medical…
I emailed Knightsbridge on the Monday to check up and see if the medical would arrive in time for the interview, they didn’t get back to me until the next day and said “Your medical will be with the embassy in the next few days†so that was disappointing and I accepted I would most likely be waiting a bit longer for the visa should the interview go well.
The Embassy was extremely easy to get too, and there was some nice seating outside where you can sit down and wait if you’re too early, of course if the weather is not too terrible. I then went round to the South Pavi... read complete review

I had my interview scheduled for Monday April 23 at 11am. exactly 10 working days after I had my medical. I emailed last week to check they had sent it, for my own peace of mind more than anything else!
I arrived about 10 minutes earlier, the lady in the tent outside took my DS-160 confirmation page and scribbled on it, went through security and went through a reception where another lady took the DS-160 and stuck some stickers on it. No queueing at all. She gave me instructions to go to Level 1, windows 21-25.
As soon as I got to the immigration area, a man at window 21 waved me over before I even sat down. He took my DS-160 confirmation, Passport, Photo, Police Certificate, Affidavit of Support and Birth Certificate. He gave me back my chest x-ray CD. He then did my fingerprints, and asked if I had been married before, and if I have lived anywhere other than the UK. I told him I was born in Zimbabwe, but have lived in the UK since I was 11. He didn't as... read complete review
