Jamnan had her interview on Tuesday, September 25th - 159 days after filing our I-129F. Went through the current interview drill - line up before 7 AM, say our good-byes and enter the embassy visa section. She came out at around 10 AM with a smile so I knew everything had gone well. Her comments:

Dropped a large stack of evidence - not sure if that is why her interview was later than others, but we had a harder case to make as we got engaged after one month. Lots of emails, phone records showing daily calls, pictures from our Phitee Mun, cards from friends and family in response to our engagement announcement, etc. Our case may have had one advantage in that we are both older (63/42) so our 22-year age difference falls well outside of the danger area of 1/2 the man's age + 7 years.

CO is described as friendly, soft spoken, lovely. Interviewed in Thai.

Questions after promising to tell the truth:

How did you meet?

We submitted our Packet 3 on August 16. On August 20 we received an e-mail that the interview was for August 27 so I scrambled to line up some flights. A couple days before the interview the Embassy called my fiancee to say they had a meeting so they moved the interview to August 28, and I scrambled to change our return flights!

We had plenty of time to go over our documents and practice the interview questions. We arrived at the Embassy on the 28th at about 5:30am. There were already about 15 people in line. At 6:45 the two girls in the pink Body Glove shirts came out and gathereed the 6 K-1/CR-1 ladies and let them inside. I was told I could not go in with my fiancee.

As I waited outside, 2 of the girls came out at different times and went running down the street only to return shortly thereafter. The first girl came out around 8:30, she had a CR-1 and was with her husband, she got approved. Three others came out and they obviously got approved. Another ... read complete review

My fiancee interviewed this Tuesday and was approved. She went into embassy and a woman checked her packet 3 and told her what was complete and hat was missing. She had to complete one form and then continued on the process.

At the window for the interview, my fiancee gave three notebooks and a few forms to the officer behind the glass. 1--medical clearance 2--photos of our time together in Thailand to prove we were together along with copies of my tickets to Thailand, and 3--msn chatlogs,4--Thai cell phone bills from. 5--police clearance.

the man then looked through the paperwork and asked the following questions:

1. How did you meet your fiance?
2. How many time he visit?
3. How did he find you?
4. How often you chat?
5. He has children?
6. His children to come to Thailand?
7. Do you have children?
8. How often you talk each other?
9. How you contact him?
10.When wa... read complete review
