My fiancee just left the embassy about an hour ago..... WITH AN APPROVAL!!!!! I am going to try and put as much info in this review as I can, but you have to understand I was getting information from a crazy woman so happy she was crying, and so in shock she didn't know what to do. I will update this review as more info become available, but I have a good understanding of how it went down.
Her appointment was for 7am at he embassy. She arrived really early at a little after 6am. She messaged me telling me she was waiting outside, and we chatted back and forth a little bit. They started lining people up by Visa type at about 6:40 am. K1's in this line, CR1 here, Tourist visa here based on your appointment time. My fiancee was second in line for the K1 visa line. About 6:50am or so she messaged me she was on the way in. Sumana went to the embassy about 8:00 am for a 9:30 interview. The appointment was on time and was simple and quick. Sumana had done a fantastic job organizing the evidence and documents required. I think 4 separate binders. The interviewer ask 3 question. How did you meet? What is your fiance's job? Where does your fiance live? He looked at the binders and said very good you passed. She then proceeded to send me a text making me think she did not pass. I called and she tried to keep a straight face while she told me she did not pass but could not. A very special day for us. She said the embassy people were polite and professional.
