The Consular Officers are nice people. First window i was asked to present my Fiancé’s Affidavit of Support and Income Tax Return most recent year (2018). So if ever they may asked so many questions to you than other applicants before you, just relax, they are just doing their job to see if the relationship is genuine. Just be yourself and answer the questions being asked directly. Always remember, the questions are all about you and your Fiancé or Fiancée.

So i had my interview today Sept.5.2019. The consulate was so nice to me, he reviewed my documents and just asked few questions. I found it easy.

My K1 Visa appointment was on August 29 at 6:45AM. I highly recommend getting this time because 1) Not crowded, less hassle 2) To get it over with already first thing in the morning HAHA. I wore a white collared shirt, jeans, and black heels. I didn't bring a bag with me, just my plastic folder with all my documents inside.

I had a very pleasant interview experience. I got inside the embassy around 7AM and got out after about an hour and 30mins.

At the entrance, they'll only ask for the first page of your DS-160 confirmation and passport (they're going to give out a ziplock bag to put the latter in).

Everyone working inside the embassy is very accomodating. I got a nice Filipina lady for my prescreening interview that took about 5mins. She asked me the following:

1. My name and DOB
2. Petitioner's name and DOB
3. How did we meet
4. When did he last visit me
5. Have I travelled abroad and where
