Maria arrived very early and nervous but was finished before noon at embassy. She came prepared with an organized folder of additional evidence, photos and documents. Prescreening and interview went very quickly. CO knew how to pronounce stateside sponsor's last name correctly, which is extremely obscure - had to be of same ethnicity. Few questions regarded how many times we met. CO intently read Maria's official annulment of previous marriage and asked a few questions regarding her past relationship and eldest son. Nothing was asked of the two boys in attendance, but they had also came prepared with a folder of their own, which included mutual activities when I visited the Philippines. CO during interview started hand-voiding Maria's and boys' tourist visas in their surrendered passports; a good sign, you can't have both K-1/K-2 visas AND tourist visas. The hoped-for "pink slip" was attached to Maria's document pile at interview end and Maria went to pay the Delbros delivery fee befor... read complete review

I don’t think she had any changes too her Birth Certificate (but we know it had errors on it with her mother using her father's last name: reason unknown. also she noticed that her mom age was wrong at the time of her birth. When she was at the NSO, she asked about fitting the errors and was told it would take 6 months. So we took a chance on them letting it go with out fixing it.
I don’t think her Birth Certificate was registered late.
We didn’t notice any issues with her Cenomar or NBI nor did they say anything about them at the interview.
When she was done with her interview, she was given the PINK paper that has a list of things that was required too bring too them. It was blank and she was told that was good that it is blank.
She was told at the time of her interview that it would take a week too review her case. When I called them the day after, i was told this general review would take 4 to 6 weeks too clear. <... read complete review

My interview went very well. I was at the embassy one hour before my interview. I think i over-prepared because i brought everything (our emails, photos, letters, remittances, bank account, etc). But it was a good thing coz the people behind the counter really checks them but when it came to my actual consule interview, she just asked me simple questions. It didnt even lasted for 3 mins. After the interview, I went outside and just waited at the lounge and got a pink slip that says my visa was approved. And that i will just get my visa in the mail

Very tough Embassy to deal with....practically impossible to communicate with them. Compliance is subjective and frustrating. Placed on AR for stupid things.
