I came for interview before 8. Everyone is sitting outside and waiting. The security guards are walking around and I greeted them all, Good Morning! :D
I fall in line for security check and it took atleast 5 minutes. Then I walk to the embassy office. I took a no. and it's lucky #008, the time is 8:11 and the date is 01-18-11. I'm just amazed with all the no. combinations. And guess what? The first counter who took all my forms and documents is No.8! Sound crazy! Isn't it? I talked to the security guard and the told me that they wont allow applicants til 530AM. We made a deal that even though I am at the 830AM schedule, he will let me in early. So mom and I ended up hanging out at Yellow cab and getting “cappuccino” at 7-11 (haha) and went back at 530AM. There are already more than a dozen people ahead of me but all of them have the 630AM schedule. The guard still let me in so I am feeling great that I am the first one in the 830AM slot. We were ushered inside at promptly 615AM and I fell in line to get a number – I was number 6007! Meaning I am the #7th on the Immigrant visa line! wootwoot! I went to submit the rest of the documents, got my fingerprints scanned. I have to wait for about 2 hours before the consul interview and they called me at 810AM and I ... read complete review
