My Interview Experience:
July 15, 2011 Visa Interview @ US Embassy, Manila Philippines

My alarm clock woke me up at 3:30 am, said my thank you to the LORD for a new day. Minutes after that my fiancé, Scott, was ringing me up (he was supposed to wake me up but I beat him to it since I’m already up). I picked the call and said Hello!! Good morning Sweet. We exchanged some sweet words then Scott prayed over me that the interview will went smoothly and we will get APPROVED.
After agreeing in prayers with him, we hung up. I then took my shower (while calling out to my daughter to slowly wake up so she can get herself ready too). My daughter and I have some hot drinks and bread.
At 4:30am, we said our goodbye to my mom (who accompanied us on the trip to give us moral support) and walked towards the Embassy (from the hotel is walkable to the Embassy). There were already a number of people at the waiting area (Baywalk Boulevard) when we reached there. <... read complete review

Now I finally have the time to right a review. My interview was last 7/7/2011 @ 8:30 am. over all experience was good, thanks to my husband for making sure that are docs are complete and to VJ family for the guides. Now here's what happened between 6:00am-11:00am @ US Embassy. read on.

1st Step: Line-up
--Arrived @ US Embassy 6am, I asked the security guard about where to line up because I already saw some who were asked to line up. Told him my appointment time is 8:30am for Immigrant visa. Guard just told me to wait on for awhile 'cause the first one's that are asked to go in are non-immigrants.
--6:30 am: Finally I was able to line up.
--Got my passport out and my interview appointment letter handed it to embassy representative, they put a sticker on passport and I was asked to go in.
--SECURITY CHECK: Make sure not to bring any electronic gadget, cellphones, usb flash disk, cameras. No liquids, perfume, hand sanitizer.... read complete review

It has been posted many times about what and what not before you can enter the US embassy ground, so there;s no need to say it again one more time. Besides, its all the same from what they went through

July 15, 2011

I was inside US embassy at 7 a.m and was done around 11:30. I was interviewed first by a Filipina and the first thing I heard from her was "ang ganda naman ng buhok mo!" at the back of my mind I was like (rebonded kasi haha) and told her thanks. Her being nice really helped me calm my nerves. She even started asking me questions which can only be answered with a yes or no. Simple eh?

She was like:

1. So your name is Ms. abcdefghi? Yes
2. So you are 22? Yes
3. So your petitioner is Mr. abcdefghi? Yes
4. He is your boyfriend? I said no, he is my fiance haha and she was like, "ayaw mo ng boyfriend ha, gusto mo talaga fiance" and we both laughed.
6. H... read complete review
