I am writing this review for my Fiance Rebeca. I just finished talking to her and she had her interview today at the US Embassy in Manila. She awoke at 4:00am, arrived at the Embassy at 5:00am. She said there were approximately 1000 people there, but it was very organized. She was let in after her documentation was checked around 7:00am. Her number was called at 7:15am, where she had her Pre-Screener Interview with a Filipino worker. He asked questions that have been discussed in the many Reviews before. They did ask for proof of support, and my XOOM copies didn't provide the information they needed. Fortunately, she had the original receipts, AMEN!! She was than asked to sit down and wait for her number to be called again. She was called for her Fingerprinting around 7:35am. Approximately at 8:00am, her number was called by the Consular Officer for her final interview. He asked the questions, how we met, when we met in person for the first time, Have I been married before,... read complete review

My interview was on Sept. 13, 2011, 6:30am..
I woke up 3am, had coffee and got a shower then headed to US Embassy..I was there 4:40am with sis Ana and 3 of my pl sisters(closed group in FB)..Theres a lot of people there already. We fall in line around 6am and start entering the embassy around 6:15. The girl checked my appoinment letter, ds-forms and my passport. She arranged it and stapled. My passport was put in transparent plastic zip-lock. Before we finally enter the building we passed through in x-ray scanner for all the belongings and body check. I fall in line in window 3 for the checking of the forms and having stub for the number. The lady instructed me to drop the forms in window 39. I dropped the forms in window 39 and wait until my number will flash in the queing board. My number was 6034 and the numbers fashes in the queing board was randomed. While waiting, i was talking to my pl sisters and chikahan to the max ..after almost 2 hours of waiting, m... read complete review

I had my interview yesterday at manila embassy for cr1 looks like I am approved but issued 212g form for additional document. I was bummed..I didnt see it coming..I had all the documents, brought with me 3 kilos of chat logs, had my hubby's AOS forms and tax documents plus pay stubs..The pre-screener asked basic questions I just didn't like it when she asked me the exact date when we said I love you to each other..I told her..ma'am with all honesty there was even no formal proposal...we started talking about marriage in the middle of September after meeting on FH last July..the rest of her questions were conversational like hows my salary as call center sales agent blah blah..then after that the long wait starts for my final interview. I had a Chinese American consul..after 2 hours of almost getting crossed eyes looking up at the numbers in red flashing , I went to the window assigned and I saw the consul talking with a Filipino young man staff.. they seem talking about my birth certi... read complete review

I'll just write a brief review about my interview @ USEM on Sept. 13, the appointment time was 8:30am.
I arrived @ the USEM 6:10am, security guard was asking immigrants and non-immigrants to fall in line around 6:30 and so everyone did. Bring out your appointment letter and passport to be checked before going inside the building, they need the appointment letter which SLEC has stamp on it. They'll ask you to put your passport on a ziplock then will hand over you a 2GO form and return back your passport and appointment letter. Then you'll go inside the building, a security check will be done, pls. don't bring any electronics with you and even a card with a musical thingy on it, they'll ask you to go out again and remove that electronic device.
If you're thru security check then you're off to go inside and fall in line just follow the line you won't be lost, give your passport and appointment letter then they'll hand you over that again and a queuing number. I got 6099 whic... read complete review

I arrived at the USEM around 6:30am. Not that much applicant on the immigrant visa queue outside the embassy. I probably just waited about 10 minutes until the security guard looked at my passport and appointment letter. He put a bar coded sticker at the back of my passport and on my appointment letter, and then gave me the 2Go courier form.

Entered the building for the first security check, I decided to leave my mobile phone at the hotel which was a good thing. They really don’t allow electronics/gadgets inside the embassy. I felt bad for the applicant ahead of me on the security check line. He has his phone and and old female security guard started to get cranky on him. She was screaming in Filipino “Don’t you see this sign?!”, while pointing to the cardboard that shows mobile phone is prohibited inside. “We’re going to send you out to make an example out of you!” she continued. She even said “What kind of visa are you applying for?!” In my ... read complete review
