Had our K1/K2 interview April 16th. I decided to join her and her daughter for the interview, traveling from Florida on the 13th.
April 15th, we went through our documents one last time. Everything was in order.
April 16th, arrived at 5AM and got in the K1 line, probably 30 people ahead of us, eventually 100+ people behind us. Rented a chair, because her daughter (3 yr old) was very tired and insisted to be held (don't get me started...haha).
Waited until 6:30AM, the moved us to another line to pre-stage for entrance. Waited another 30 mins, we were sent through the first check, where they asked for the appointment letter (we used the email print out), payment receipt for visa, DS 156, 156K (K1 only) and 157 for both K1/K2's.
Then sent through security. FYI, you can bring bottles, formula, water, and small candies, but no other food. No electronics, of course.
Then sent through check in, where we pro... read complete review

She arrived at 3:30 am for her 6:30 am interview. The guard asked for the interview confirmation e-mail and let her into the embassy around 6:30 am. The American CO asked her questions about my past divorce and reviewed the documents.
She was approved and left the embassy around 9:30 am.

Visa Interview went very nicely. Very friendly. They only asked a few questions and very little documentation. GOD is GOOD all the time... We are dancing with joy...

The whole process only took her a couple of hours. They complimented her on her organization and how much she had to show. They said most people just bring in documents and a few pages of evidence. It helped that she had everything organized so she could quickly find what they needed to see.
Questions asked:
What's your petitioners name?
What does he do?
How did you meet?
How long have you know each other?
When is the last time you saw each other?
Are you aware you have 90 days to marry once you arrive?
And then congrats you are approved.
She said they were very nice and warm and smiling. The lady at the final window was very cold though and she was afraid to ask if she could just pick up her visa since she was staying in Manila for a few days, so we just going to wait for it to be delivered

My husband's appointment was at 6:30 in the morning, he arrived at the embassy at 4:30 and there was already a long line forming outside. I think he said he was the 30th person in the line even though he was there two hours earlier. After waiting outside for two hours, they were finally allowed to go in at 6:00 am. They were asked the appointment letter and the medical records that he had brought. He was then given a priority number. It was mostly waiting around to be called. He had two interviews. the first interview was stricter. This Filipina agent asked her multiple questions about me, about where and when we met. Things like that. And for some reason the lady also asked her for a CENOMAR (certificate of no marriage)...Good thing my husband held his cool and politely reminded the lady that he was there for a spousal visa not a fiance, therefore he was already married. :P
After the first interview he waited some more about 30 minutes to be called to the 2nd intervi... read complete review
