Two (2) days before our scheduled interview my son was scratch by a cat while just sitting outside the house . . maybe he is at the wrong place 2 punctures wounds on his upper right arm and 2 punctures wounds on his back .. took him to the doctor anti tetanus shot and the following morning i brought him to San Lazaro hospital for anti rabies shots and ERIG (P2,475 for 2 vials)and was administered once only . . expect some reactions . . July 5, at 9pm his fever is 39 and i got panicky with nobody around to support me.. for short i am stress out and worried what and if ever my son is sick, how can we go to the US Embassy for our visa interview . . so i said to my son i am going to pray and you agree with me. . its a prayer claiming healing and rebuking hindrances for our interview the morning . . i just felt a tight hug and kiss from my son . .it was the longest night of my life . . i tried to go online to talk to my husband but he is offline i did not sleep that night just make... read complete review

Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiance had his interview June 22. He said they asked very few questions and did not want to look at pictures or other proof of relationship he offered. They said they had no doubt about the legitimacy of our relationship. The interview with the Filipino CO went fine.

When he got to the American CO, there was in issue with finances. The CO said he needed current pay stubs. My current pay stubs were actually already in the packet that the CO had, but he apparently didn't notice or care. My fiance tried to explain further that my mother was willing to act as a joint sponsor. The CO said, "We do not accept co-sponsors for the K1 visa" and refused paperwork showing my mother's finances and offer of support. He was issued a 221g on which "proof of current sustained income" was checked. They kept all of his paperwork and his passport and told him to mail the requested documents directly to the embassy via 2GO.

We're now trying to compile another fin... read complete review

Make sure to have ALL documents required/asked during the interview.
I submitted all asked at the NVC during the earlier stages of the petition process thus during the interview none were asked anymore.
Make sure to have submitted ORIGINAL NSO DOCUMENTS, VALID NBI Clearance (check to see if it is still valid during the time of the interview, if not, secure a new NBI Clearance), FORM I-864 and ITR and W2s of petitioner (2011, we also submitted ITRs&W2s for the last 3 years).

Filipina Prescreener was very nice, asked a couple of basic questions. Just validating what was on the DS 230 Forms. Asked to see our pictures too.

Female American Consular Officer was nice and cheerful. Questions asked were my (1) husband's date of entry in US and on what visa (2) his job
She asked to see our pictures then commented on our E-session pics at Manila Yacht Club and my wedding gown. After that she said I was approve... read complete review

I arrived at USEM 5:00am,my visa interview experienced today was so smooth even though i am so nervous in the beginning but i guess that's normal, the only thing that the Filipino interviewer asked is that if i have a CEMAR she was so kind and very warm always smiling then the American CO asked some few questions too, when and where did we met? hubby's address and then she told me to wait for my number to be called again, then I was called at window72 and they she checked on my info's are correct and then she smiled and said congratulations welcome to America! Just be prepare with all the docs they might ask you and you will be fine relaxed and enjoy the embassy experienced lol!
