Arrived at 4:30am for 6:30am interview time. Way to early. No need to arrive until about 5:30am. Petitioner not allowed into the embassy. Had to leave and go back to hotel at 6:30am and wait for her to come back to hotel. She said the process was smooth. Pre-screening included passport, DS160, IRS Transcript of Petitioner, Affidavit of Support (I-134), 2x2 pics with name written on back, PSA Birth Certificate, NBI, Cenomar. Questions such as what is name, birthdate, had to take of the mask to match the passport photo, asked what is full name of petitioner. Asked for current address, Asked if Petitioner is Single or Divorced. They reviewed the Medical results. Then Pre-screening was over and had to do fingerprints. Then had to sit and wait for your name to be called. Then sent to Window 62 and asked for Passport. Then had to remove mask again to verify indentity. Was asked full name and birthday again. Had to raise right hand to give some kind of oath. Then the consular asked: How we me... read complete review

TL;DR - Interview took around 4 hours because my wife had to exit the building to upload missing documents to the consulate's visa online system, the embassy needed time to find documents she mailed to them, and she was last on the list to be interviewed that morning.
Long version: My wife's interview was at 7:30am. US Embassy has no parking for visa interviewees so we had to park a few block away across the street on Roxas Blvd East Service Road near the Bayview Park Hotel. Empty parking spots were roped off but we told the parking attendant we were headed to the US Embassy and he kindly opened up a spot for us. I walked my wife to the Embassy after parking (about 5 minutes walk) and they let her in 15 min early. Unlike other people's experience, her interview process took about 4 hours. This was for several reasons:
1) During the first pre-processing step where they check all the visa candidate's documents, the US Embassy representative informed my wife there we... read complete review

My appointment was at 7:30 a.m., and I got out at 10:55 a.m. Initial pre-screening/pre-interview and fingerprinting went quickly. The longest wait was for the interview itself, because there was no longer a queue for that--you had to wait for your name to be called by the consul to whom your case was assigned. My interview itself was fairly quick, which took me by surprise, actually, like more or less 5 minutes. Qs asked: Have you ever committed a criminal act/been convicted of a criminal act? Have you ever been married before? Has your fiancé ever been married before? Do you have kids together? Is your fiancé of Filipino descent? She asked if I had registered my delivery address for the LBC delivery service, then handed me pamphlets on domestic violence, instructing me to read them very carefully. Then she said, "All right, your visa's approved. Just wait for your passport to be mailed back to you. Have a good day!"
Just a quick note abo... read complete review
