Review Topic: K1 Visa

Some tips:
I woke up at 3:30 in the morning, took a shower and while on the shower my breakfast was delivered too. I ate and then put my clothes on and put a light make up on...Went down and I didn't know that the car service was there waiting for me..It's already 4:55 when I went down..So the driver drove me to the embassy and got there at exactly 5:00 in the morning..The line wasn't that long for K1 but there were lots of applicants tho for different visa type. So while I was on the line and since I had a friend (sissy on fb) that I was talking the night before my interview and we had the same date too I waited her there because we had the agreement that we will wait each other outside. Then, 3 minutes later she( Dajen Capuyan) arrived there at the embassy.. So we were talking and said "hi, hello" and etc. While talking the guard called us ( K1 applicant) to move forward.. While we were on the line the lady(crew there at the embassy) told us to prepare all the DS forms:

I saw some Filipinas with their fiances beside them, how i wished my Glenn was with me too. Review Topic: K1 Visa

From what I gather, it sounds like the morning Janice was there, it was smooth as silk. The Filipino consul asked far more questions than the American consul. American consul asked maybe 5 questions and then told her Congratulations!. Both were very pleasant and very professional from what I gathered.

If you are working in another country and recently resigned to return to Manila and fix the visa process... please read on!

My interview was scheduled at 7:30am. Me and my USC Fiance arrived outside to line up at the Embassy at 5:45am. There were about 15-20 ahead of us at the immigration line. Not sure if everyone was for K1 visa. We were processed and were inside the Embassy by 6:30am so I suggest you come waaaaaay earlier than your appointment time.

Process is the same as other reviews. Took us about 1 hour before being called for finger scanning, 30 minutes to be called for the documents, and 2 and a half hours to be called for the interview! My heart was racing faster everytime a number above our queue number flashed on the board. There was a window where the Consul was pushing our interviews probably every 2-3 minutes. There was one window however who was calling applicants every 20 minutes and our folder was sent there I guess.

We ha... read complete review
