The entire process was smooth, quick, and efficient. First part was biometrics which is basically a 5-10 minutes review of documents. The second part was the consul interview where I was asked to take an oath. Several questions like when did you meet, how often do you communicate, how many times he visited the country were asked. The consul also asked for pictures of the wedding and vacations together. Right then and there, my visa application was approved. The last window will direct if there are additional documents needed, although thankfully there weren't any for me.
For all of you with upcoming interviews, just make sure you have updated documents, and relax.
Good luck!

These past few days have been a whirlwind. It all started last Wednesday morning, May 7th, when I woke before work to search for an appointment on line. I had been upset because I had completed all the steps just to find out we had to wait what seemed like forever for an interview appointment. But that morning there was an appointment available for May 13. Without even thinking I jumped on it. Then realized how crazy this was. So I talked with my fiancé and we decided we could try it, this was Wednesday evening for her. I went on-line and arranged a hotel room for eight days, just in case, and a ticket for her and her niece to fly from Davao to Manila. Thursday morning she woke up early and took the 3 – 4 hour trip up from her home town of Malita up to Davao. They flew into Manila Thursday evening and were in line at St. Luke’s the next morning at 5:00 am. The medical went well and she told them her appointment was next Tuesday on the 13th. They told her to return for a final vac... read complete review

The big arrived, July 30, 2013 was our Consulate Interview javascript:emoticon(' ')at 5:00 in the morning, I woke up the kids ages 16 daughter, 14 and 11 sons to get ready. They are under K-2 category. I was preparing the documents all in one bag a night before. We arrived in Manila Embassy exactly 6:30 AM. And there are already long line according to Visa's category. In K-1 not so long, so we fit our selves in and while waiting for the staff to check the necessary documents, I offered a prayer to our Lord God that all will be done according to HIS will javascript:emoticon(' ')The woman who's in charged in reviewing and checking documents was amazed how I am so organized and clip all those documents to each 4 applicants (me and 3Kids)separately. She said wish everyone is like you Mam very organized and neat. It made my day start good javascript:emoticon(' ')told her Thank you very much! Well when we are inside in waiting area it ... read complete review

We arrived at the embassy this morning at 640 for a 730 interview time. Once inside and waiting we were interviewed by a Filipino guy that asked a few questions and I believe he was checking the accuracy of our letter that described how we met. He asked a couple other questions like where did we meet and then when did our relationship start. After that we were told to go sit down again and wait for our number to be called. Then we were called to the second interview and since I came here with my fiance and son the interview was very fast. The lady behind the window only confirmed who I was and said no pictures needed because we were together and then she said my visa is approved. We are so happy and it was pretty fast altogether. We were our of the embassy by 1030. No we are just waiting for the visa to be delivered at the MOA 2Go and then off to the US javascript:emoticon(' ')

Being well prepared in advance will speed the process tremendously... Many applicants show up hours before the facility opens. It might take a very long time to get through the process but it's only because of the very high volume of applicants.
