We arrived to the embassy about 5:30am, and already so many people in line! There were 3 lines: 1 for seafarers, 1 for appts from 7 to 7:10, and 1 for appts from 7:15 to 7:30. Our appt was at 7:30 so we fell in line at the 3rd line. They started letting all the seafarers go to the tent areas at 6. About 7am I noticed that the guard let a k-1 case pass by with the seafarers. So we asked the guard if we could pass by also since we're k-1, and he let us through. Another guy there asked what her case was, she said k-1, and we were directed to get in line 4 which was the line for fiancee visas. This line was very short! So when they start letting people in, talk to the guard and let him let you through. No reason to have to wait coz the line was so short.

When we arrived to the podium at line 4, she asked for the first page of the appt letter, the ds-160 confirmation page and her passport. They put a barcode sticker on the back of her passport and put it in a plast... read complete review

CR-1 Visa Case Interview Experience, U.S. Embassy Manila Philippines

My wife who lives in Caloocan City Metro Manila left at 4:30 AM and carried along this two inch three ring binder full of documents and pictures.

She took the Light Rail Transit to commute to the US Embassy at Roxas Boulevard, Manila and arrived at the US Embassy around 5:10 AM. Upon arriving, she found the queue of people intending to enter the US Embassy to be long.

The U.S. Embassy rent-a-cop opened the gate for Applicants at 6:00 AM. Upon checking the Appointment Letter, the guard issued a Form document which will be filled out by Applicant and returned at a window counter at a later time.

The queue for Tourist, working visa, and Immigrant visa applications were separate.

At around 6:45 AM, a clerk called my wife to a Counter and took some information regarding our petition case; checked our Appointment Letter, Petition Case; verified th... read complete review

I have always waited for my turn to write a review with regards to Interview result. So, here it goes.

We, me(IR1) and my kids (IR2) were scheduled this morning, July 2nd @ 6:15AM. We arrived at the embassy 10 minutes before 5AM and the line for Immigrants is already way long. The street vendors along the USEM bombarded us with questions like, do we have pictures already or we need a black pen and even offered to take our bags for them to watch since according to them big backpacks which my son is carrying is not allowed inside. They are pretty convincing I should say but then, it's not my first time to visit the embassy so I already know what to expect. Big bags are fine as long as it does not contain prohibited items and even if they do,the guards will take them out before you enter. Gadgets and mobile phones were not allowed as instructed on the appointment letter but the guards too will take them out and owners can claim it on their way out.

The gates... read complete review
