Interview with the consul turned out smoothly and she even let my partner stay with me. We were actually both asked questions and it was just like having a usual conversation with her. We were so lucky to have her! At the end she just said "Okay, this is approved".

to be honest, didn't really feel like writing this but to help our community out.. here I go!
so her appt was at 12:30, she got there fine, checked in, was told to get a number and wait..
and then... they forgot to call her name yup.. she waited and waited until almost closing time until they finally called her.. I guess it's a double-edged sword.. she was rushed.. but then again if she didn't, the interview might've been more intensive
Here'w how the interview went:
- asked for my tax returns
- what's your relation to him?
- how did you two meet?
- when was the last time you saw each other?
- he stayed in the Philippines for 6 months? (case specific because I did)
- do you have pictures together?
- specific question about our pictures, where it was, was it part of vacation, etc
- what does he do for a living?
- where is he now?
- are y... read complete review

I thought my interview would be cancelled or postpone because of the world wide technical problems that all embassies are experiencing right now.
I had my interview on June 18, 2015. Day before my interview, my fiance called the embassy to check whether i should reschedule a new one. He was then told that I am not one of those who will be affected. He was told that I should on my scheduled date.
I went there at about 4 am. I was the second in the K-1 line. There was already a long line for the immigrant visa applicants. (If feels a little weird because from what I have been reading, the K1 visa applicants will always a long qeue.) The applicant before me has problems with her DS-160 as she was not able to print the confirmation page. Anyways, with the help of those vendors outside the USEM and the hefty tip at P 400, she was able to print one.
At around 6 am. I was getting worried because there were only two of us in the K1 line. I tho... read complete review

The whole process to my fiancee nine hours which all but about 5 minutes was waiting she said. The only asked her two questions, when did you two first meet and how many times did he come to visit you. They didn't ask for anything else she brought....pictures, chatlogs, I-134,....nothing. After she answered the questions they just told her to wait about three weeks for the visa. She wasn't told congrats, or welcome to the U.S. as others said and also didn't get any 2go paper. It seems all went well and her biggest complaint was it was extremely cold and and the amount waiting she had to do.
