I thought my interview would be cancelled or postpone because of the world wide technical problems that all embassies are experiencing right now.
I had my interview on June 18, 2015. Day before my interview, my fiance called the embassy to check whether i should reschedule a new one. He was then told that I am not one of those who will be affected. He was told that I should on my scheduled date.
I went there at about 4 am. I was the second in the K-1 line. There was already a long line for the immigrant visa applicants. (If feels a little weird because from what I have been reading, the K1 visa applicants will always a long qeue.) The applicant before me has problems with her DS-160 as she was not able to print the confirmation page. Anyways, with the help of those vendors outside the USEM and the hefty tip at P 400, she was able to print one.
At around 6 am. I was getting worried because there were only two of us in the K1 line. I tho... read complete review

The whole process to my fiancee nine hours which all but about 5 minutes was waiting she said. The only asked her two questions, when did you two first meet and how many times did he come to visit you. They didn't ask for anything else she brought....pictures, chatlogs, I-134,....nothing. After she answered the questions they just told her to wait about three weeks for the visa. She wasn't told congrats, or welcome to the U.S. as others said and also didn't get any 2go paper. It seems all went well and her biggest complaint was it was extremely cold and and the amount waiting she had to do.

It was a smooth process. My interview was scheduled on Dec 23, 2014 at 6am. I went to the embassy at 5am and there was not alot of people. I got in at 6am and they started calling numbers. I was first interviewed by a Filipino consul, he got my NBI, birth certificate, Cenomar. The second interviewer was an American. She was really nice. She asked me a few questions. 1st, name of my fiance, how did we meet and what did we do in Macau, then she told me to wait for my number to be called. On the last window they told me that my visa was approved and just wait for an sms from 2go.
It was really a great experience!
