So almost after a year we were able to get to the interview nervous like crazy for both of us we got all copies of everything, organized, labeled in sections with post-its. The morning of the interview woke up at 0430, she was nervous so took awhile getting ready, we left at 0540 got a taxi, really good man didnt ask for flat rate, he saw that we were in a rush, he got us there in 10 min (we stay near by). The que was long at 6am, which I already predicted, we got into line and I think its mroe the wait that got us more nervous till the moment we started the steps inside about 2 hrs later. Over all I can see that the folks are by themselves and with out their sponsors, I was there for my fiance but others where their to fend for themselves. The GS employees local or state sides were alright, one guy though really super bastos (maybe bad morning oh well) Over all place was clean and going, though a bit confusing if you don't hear the instructions first time around, we had to ask the... read complete review

Juliana was interviewed on 10/25/2012. All her paperwork was in good order and the interview went very well. The interviewer was friendly and not confrontational at all.
Our advice: follow the instructions thoroughly, and exercise normal patience. The system does work, although it seems like a slow process.

Very fast interview. We submitted a lot of paper work so they won't have any questions about me and my then fiance. The consul just welcomed me and then said congratulations to our upcoming wedding :D

1. Interview appointment scheduled for 7:30 AM (didn't really get followed). Arrived at USEM at around 6:45 AM. Leave electronic devices at your hotel, your family member or take the risk and leave it with the people outside of USEM for a hefty fee.
2. Line up outside by the tents. Prepare your passport (remove the jacket), appointment confirmation (first page only), DS-160 Confirmation (first page only).
3. Security check - you can't bring in any kind of electronic devices and food.
4. Line up and get your number stapled to your DS-160 confirmation.
5. Wait for your number to be called by one of the IV Greeters (in orange shirts). This could take a while, I was waiting for more than 2 hours before my number was called. Be wary on where you are sitting down, the left side is for tourist visas, the right side is for fiance, and other IV applicants. There's a mini canteen at the middle and they charge quite a lot. I bought a beverage and to my amazement, it co... read complete review
