My fiancee arrived there two hours before her appointment. Knowing that there will be a long line.
She said that an American lady asked the following questions.
What is your fiance job ? What is his home address? What is his phone number ?
Was your fiance divorced? She asked about our wedding plans? Also she was asked what she did for a living and if she was married before ? She said that the lady was very friendly.

First - showing up early is okay - the Embassy website is wrong about them enforcing a 15 minute pre-arrival time. There is a long line of people who wait in a waiting area South of the main entrance lines, and they start calling interview times long before the scheduled interview.

My finance and K2 daughters were scheduled for 8:30am. We arrived by Grab at 6:15am. By 6:45am their appointment time was called and they got into the main lines. It took about 45minutes to get through these outside lines and enter the Embassy proper. I, the petitioner, waited and watched every step of the way till they walked inside.

Here is how my finance has described the internal interview process, keep in mind this was just her experience and you should always be prepared. We 100% believe in “it’s better to have than to have not”.

Screening (first stop):The PH consulate checked the DS-160, Passports, Birth records, and kept the CENOMAR, NBI, and aske... read complete review

Interview was smooth like glass. It took less than 10 mins. a few questions was asked.(its a good thing because she only has 3 hours of sleep the night before) . My worry was about my divorce decree because she only has a copy of it. people saying here that a divorce decree with a wet signature is a must. There was a big debate about this issue on here. actually she was asked about the original but never demanded and never an issue. they were ok with just a copy.

Overall consulate staff are very friendly....
