My interview schedule was 6:45 am. Was one of the first 20 being interviewed. I left the Embassy 8:30 am with a big smile.
Pre-screening:
Officer only asked for my passport, birth certificate, nbi, foreign police clearance (former OFW), cenomar and sealed medical report from St. Luke's. And he asked me if I have pictures with my petitioner and so I showed few pictures I brought with me (pictures together, pictures of my fiance and I with my family, pictures of my fiance and I with my bestfriend, and screenshot of Skype video call with my fiance's parents.
Interview:
These are the only questions that were asked from me by the American Consular Officer:
What is your petitioner's name?
Where will you be living in the US?
How many times your petitioner was married before?
What is the reason of their divorce?
Does he have kids?
Where did the two of you meet? (We met in a non-online dating website and expl... read complete review

Fiancee said that the embassy was well organized, all people where at windows with numbers on them and where friendly to her. Consular was friendly to her and only asked her a couple questions about her and I. She said the interview process was very easy and they where all friendly to her, but she went in with full confidence and was very well prepared.
But waiting to go into the embassy, you have to sit away from the gate and the chairs are not owned by the embassy, but by other people and you have to pay to sit as well as for umbrella if its raining.
But from what my fiancee said, the interview was very easy and not as stressful as the medical.

The whole process was smooth. You just have to endure long lines. For the interview, which is the Step 4, it went so quick and smooth. Maybe because my fiancé and I were both single, no child and have never been married. There were other k1 applicants who were interviewed quite long, but they were approved anyway. You dont have to be nervous about the interview. There is really nothing to be nervous about, as long as your relationship is genuine.
I was only asked the follpwing questions:
Where did I meet my fiance?
Where is he from?
What's his work?
Does he have a child? Was he married before?
Am I single with no child?
After that, we just chitchat... About my fiancé arriving tonight. And he said congratulations!
Everybody was nice except for the ushers for the line and the process, they were nice but they have to be strict to organize the lines and the like.

Had an interview on the 1st of July at 9.30am with my son. I can say it went good. The first guy who went through my documents seems nice, he's been smiling at me while he was asking questions and went through the documents. Like peonyjade case before, found the divorce decree wasn't certified. After him, I was interviewed again by a lady, and asked random questions about me and fiancé. She was serious as she was asking questions and at the same time keying in details in the computer (some vj comments posted that I've read seems exaggerated about interviewers). At the end of the interview, she didn't say I'm approved but requested me to submit the certified divorce decree and I saw her smile while we're saying goodbye and wishing a nice day😊.
Upon receiving my fiancées certified divorce decree, immediately submitted thru aramex as instructed on 7 July and embassy received the next day. I've been checking aramex the status and at ceac online tracking status but sti... read complete review
