According to my husband, a lot of waiting. When it came to the last interview, he was next but with a guy that seemed strict so he let someone in the back go before him until he got a guy who seemed nice. The interview asked one question of who my parents names are. Then asked if it was hard to be away from me and then he got approved! There are two that are strict and ask a lot of questions and two that were friendly, patient, and ask few questions. Over all he was in and out for 2 hours. javascript:emoticon(' ')

I was interviewed by a Filipino consul first. It took longer than my interview with the American consul. The whole interview was nerve-wracking, but I had a pleasant experience. I guess, as long as you come in prepared and answered all questions truthfully with a smile, you'll be fine.

My fiance had a 6:45 appointment, and was finished 3 hours later. He said the pinay official was very stern but polite, and the US official was friendly. He came well prepared and the whole process was easier that the medical and CFO procedures.
