My Fiance had her interview in Manila on September 8th. She said it was easier than she had thought it would be. She also said that she got lucky and had a certain pre-screener who was fast and not asking for anything hardly. She heard others with different pre-screener and they were asked for documents from petitioner. She was approved after a short interview and asked only a few questions. The whole process took about 3 hours. They did not ask her for affidavit of support or any proof of relationship.

My interview date was August 30, 2016 scheduled at 6:45am.
I was with my partner throughout the whole process. We got out the hotel at 6:10am and at that time, we thought that we could get to the embassy grounds at 6:30am but then unfortunately for us it was raining that hard. We were forced to buy umbrellas which costs P200, really expensive! Then we have to cross by going up the overpass. Then we arrived at the tent at 7:00am and we arrived where most of our documents for the interview were somehow wet.
We were in line until 7:30am we got inside the security area. There are basically two doors: one for the USC and the other is for applicants. I gave my phone to my USC partner because they can secure their electronic stuff in the area. Despite that my watch was electronic in nature, I still got in.

I had my interview last Wednesday, Sept. 8th. I arrived at the embassy at 7:30 for my 8:15 appointment and as expected, the line was very long already. For those who would like to finish early, you should come hours ahead of your appointment time and be at the front of the line. Once inside the building, IV greeters are there to guide applicants in every step of the whole process so there is no reason to be confused or nervous as to where we should go or what to do next. The whole interview was really easy; biometrics/fingerprints(my little pinky was not cooperating so i had to do it more than once), pre screening (with a filipina who asked for my original BC, Cenomar, NBI, Russian PC and CNCC (which was missing during my interview) and for some photos of me and my fiance and some questions about me and my fiance and our relationship), oathtaking, and step 4 is the interview with the Consular Officer (same questions were asked about how me and my fiance met. My fiancé arrived at the Embassy at the scheduled time. She spent lots of time waiting at the various steps before the actual interview with the CO. The actual interview with the CO went quite well and only lasted for a couple of minutes. The CO did not ask any challenging questions. Our case is very simple in that both me and my fiancé had never been married before, neither of us have kids and I easily make enough money to support her and I.
