Interview date : December 8th
I got there at 7am, my schedule was 8.15am. There was a queuing area, just right outside the embassy. The applicants lined up according to their schedule in that queue area. It would have been good, except that those who assisted looked a bit confused as well with where to put K1 applicants. I mean initially I went to the 8.15 non immigrants line. But then someone among the embassy assistants told all k1s to line up at the immigrant line, so we did. Then someone called all K1s to approach the area near the gate at 7.45 so we all went to the gate, wearing our heels and all, only to be told to walk back to the queuing area and line up again under the immigrants line.
It was okay, I am not complaining, it was just inconvenient not knowing where to go. I know k1 visa is classified as a non immigrant visa, but, is also classifies as "immigrant" in some embassy tracking system. We, the k1 applicants, were as confused as the assisti... read complete review

I promised myself to make a review when I got approved so I can help other people who's still on process to give them more insights and what to expect during the interview
Had my interview last November 28,2016 at 9:00 am and it was such a smooth process! I went there around 7:30 and the guard let me in around 8:00 am to wait for the 9:00 K1 and immigrant visa to be called. Around 8:45 am, they called Immigrant visa and fiancé visa applicants, we lined up to the tent and they get my DS160 and put a sticker with my name and letter B which means I'll be lining up to the B seats inside. I get inside around 9:10 am and only few people were there. First, I went to Data Entry, the guy asked my Birthday and Address of Petitioner/Address where you will be staying in US (the MOST IMPORTANT information that you should know because they will keep on asking it from data entry to interview) Second step was Pre-Screening, I waited around 15 mins to be called. The lady... read complete review

Her interview is 9AM, she went there at around 8:30AM. There were other 2 K1 visa applicant with her.
First is they get the application, and her passport put it in ziplock and she proceed to the next window for finger scanning. The guy in the finger scanning greeted her Happy Birthday (since the day of her interview is also her birthday)
Interviewed by a Filipina, asked some details, like: Your birthday, your fiance birthday, his address, when is your first to see each other, how long you've been together, when did you become bf/gf.
Then sworn statement on the next window.
She waited a long time to have her interview.
The interview was really quick like 5 minutes
The consul asked her:
how did you meet?
what church is he attending?
are you attending that same church?
when are you planning to get married?
you applied for visa last year and was denied, because they think you will stay there and th... read complete review

Me and my kids did not encounter any problem during our interview. Except for the administrative review issue that made us sad, everything went well. And for the CO who interviewed us she was really nice and did not give us a hard time and that we are just thankful..it's all worth it!

Over all experience very good.
Just make sure you bring all required documents as per the list in the P4 or any additional email document request. Just be honest and listen carefully.
When you reach the Embassy inform that you are there for Immigrant Visa Interview they will check your P4, passport and DS260.
Questions are very common, how long have you been together, when was the last time you met, did you know how much your husband's salary and they ask me to tell them when and where was the photo taken. Initially the first Asian interviewer informed me that I may need to submit copies of my husband's passport copy and must be certified by the consul/Philippine Embassy. But thank goodness after the second interview I was informed that they do not need the copy of the passport and that I will be expecting my passport and visa in a couple of weeks.
current status is under administrative p... read complete review
