although we had heard that visas for Qatar and Singapore were not required because of how hard they are to get when living outside the country both were required by this particular interviewer. He ask very few questions, didn't want to see the stacks of pictures and chat logs. The only evidence he looked at was the picture I originally filed with the k1. I re ally feel there should be a more uniform system for this rather than being at the whim of the interviewer.

Fiance and i showed up for our appointment 5 min. early. This was the first appointment slot of the day yet there was a huge crowd of people gathered around the area, just waiting for later appointments i guess. We bypassed everyone and went right in. Not many people inside at this point for the 6:40am appointments. Everything was very well organized. we kept moving....even while seated. First hurdle was the screening window. here the person looks over your important docs, basically everything but support paperwork. She asks me who is sponsoring me and what is his relationship to me. She asks me about when our relationship began, how it began, when we first met in person, how many times?
She sends us to the photo window to have our photo entered into their system. It was here that things went a little bad for us..... after using 5 of the 6 photos we took, all through the process up till now, the lady at this window explains that in my picture i am showing too much smile. So off... read complete review

The actual interview took only a few minutes with some very standard questions: What’s your finances full name, have either of you been married before, do either of you have children. The interviewer then asked for photos of us together, which he spent a few minutes looking through. Then we were approved!! Quick and painless
There was some sort of mix up during the processing (their fault, not Cal’s), and he had to wait in the same line twice. So it took probably a half hour longer than it should have, but it’s all good now though

My fiance' was scheduled for his interview at 8:40 am. He got to the embassy around 8:15. He was allowed in but had to wait until it was his time to go. His first stop was window one. He spoke with a Filipina who wasn't very friendly (shocking! i've never encountered an unfriendly Filipino). He said she took a look at his NBI, CENOMAR, and DS-160 and asked if we had pics together. He said he had tons and offered to show her. She didn't want to see them. She then proceeded to ask him questions about me like what is my full name, where do I work, what is my address, etc. She also asked how how we met and how many times I had visited. He was then told to wait and then was called for window three. This is where he spoke to an American gentleman. He said he wasn't rude but you could tell he had a case of the Monday's (which I have almost every day at work :rolleyes . He asked the same questions and asked for the NBI, CENOMAR, and DS-160. At the end (it only lasted about 10... read complete review
