The interview phase done by the American consul was easy. He only asked me 2 questions compared to the pre- screening conducted by the Filipino consul. She asked me bunch of questions Over and over. I think she was trying to check if I was consistent with my answer. They were also helpful. The American lady at the fingerprinting Has a very nice personality and even wished me luck for my interview.I’ll give a 5-star rating for US embassy Manila but will definitely give St Luke’s 2-star rating.

+Update for Dec 28, 2018: CEAC status says "Administrative Processing".
+Update for Jan 2, 2019: CEAC status says "Issued".

My interview was scheduled for 8.10am of Dec. 27. We had checked in to an Airbnb the day before to avoid travelling too far on the morning of interview. There was not much traffic going to the embassy and got there around 7am. We only wanted to check the line and see what's up, leave to have breakfast nearby, then come back 15 minutes before my schedule but when we saw 'Now processing 8.15am appointments, we just went straight in, skipping a short line of about 10 people (probably for the next time slot).

At the first 'check' outside where people line up, they asked to see my DS 160 confirmation page with the barcode and asked what time my schedule was. I showed also my appointment page (it also has a barcode) but it was returned to me. Then they let us through. I was with my fiancé and he was allowed to go inside the emba... read complete review

Biometrics was east and fast but we waited 2 hours for the interview.
The consul only asked:
1) Where my fiance lives?
2) What does he do for a living?
3) How did we meet?
4) When did we started dating?
5) When did he proposed

And approved

My fiancee's scheduled interview appointment was at 0710. She arrived at the embassy around 0615. I was told that the time she spent falling in line was longer than the interview itself. We were asked how we met, last time we saw each other, et al. We bonded through travel. We met 3x within the past 12months and traveled to 6 different countries. Prior to that, she traveled extensively in South East Asia and in the UK before we met. The consul focused on his questions about her solo travels. At the end of the interview, the consul asked for printed most recent conversations as proof of an ongoing relationship, which we didn't have at the moment. We focused too much on the financial documents and completely neglected the basic ones (chats, call logs, cards). The consul gave her a letter stating that she needs to submit the additional documents, which we did that same day through the 2GO courier, free of charge. Now, our case is currently on ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING.
