My husband was the last to be interviewed so it took about 4 hours, but once he was called up it only took 5 minutes. They ask my address, about divorce dates, kids names and ages. We sent about 60 pics with his friends and family at the NVC stage, as well as phone records, and screenshots (one from each month) from Facebook and yahoo messenger. The interviewer did second guess 1 or 2 of his answers but every time my husband would just reply "my wife is outside if you would like to ask her." I have also visited 4 times, once for official engagement, next for wedding, then for our 1st anniversary, and last for his interview. I'm sure everything came together to prove without a doubt that our marriage was all for love. All in all it was a good experience at the interview. Only thing I would have changed is I went with him and had to wait outside alone for the whole time. I suggest if you go visit for the interview stay at the hotel where it's more comfortable lol.

My wife second interview was easier than expected after waiting 10 months on Administrative processing, finally the C.O requested a new medical and police reports after she was asked to drop them with her passport at DSS location and after 10 days of waiting her visa was finally issued today. To God be the Glory. Thanks to Dwheels, Lizzy, on Whatsup Immigration Forum, and C.O on Nairaland forum and others. This journey took us 2 years and 2 months. If you're on AP guys hang in there and be prayerful. With God all things are possible. It was not easy but God made it simple and at last we are uniting very soon here in the United States. I will be here and on whatsup Immgration Forum to answer any questions from members. Lagos Consulate I salute

Ok so I wanted to submit a review of my fiance's experience. I decided to go to Nigeria for the interview. We arrived at the Embassy around 630 for is interview at 0700. Once he got inside he begin his long 6 hour wait. During this time he witness a lot of others being interviewed and what he said was not at all a surprise. A little info on us, we met in India while living there we got engaged. When it was time for him to go home, we already had our petition submitted and was just waiting. While we waited for our NOA2 I visited him twice. Back too the interview. We decided early on in the process that we would not do in preparing for the interview as others have done. We where both convinced that there was nothing they could ask him that he didnt know. So there was no need to prepare for something we do everything already(which is maintain a relationship) He said that his experience was great that it was very obvious the interviewers are trained lie detectors and that anyone that came ... read complete review

My interview experience was a very pleasant one.
My Babe and I arrived at the consulate around 6:13am, and I joined the queue for the 7:00am appointment. We filed through the security checks and the officers confirmed my appointment. They gave me a contact form to fill. We sat there waiting to be called into the main building until 8:49am. We filed through another security check point that led us to the main building. There we walked through another detector like the ones at the airport
The guards then directed us to another block where we got a tally card. The room led us to the interview hall. There were not many people as I had thought. There, I joined another queue waiting to be called to submit their medicals and financial documents. A lady in one of the windows smiled at me and mouthed these words to me "I like your dress" and I smiled back at her saying "thank you". Her compliment boosted my morale lol. Guess what? When they called my name over... read complete review
