Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My interview appointment was on the 27th of November 2019. The consular officer was nice and he asked me some questions which I answered perfectly well and I'm sure about them. After the interview the CO asked me to submit a joint sponsor AOS with recent income tax and more pictures of me and my wife within the 5 years she came home to visit. I submitted all that on the 5th of DEC to the approved DHL collection center and my case was updated on the 6th of DEC.
Since then, No updates and I'm still awaiting the embassy mail (50days and counting) from interview date

My experience at the embassy on 9th January 2020was pleasant except at one of the security point whereby I was turned back to remove my smart watch. Other than than, everything looks good.

I was interviewed by a black American woman (Probably in late 40s) and here goes the question that was asked:

Who petitioned you?
What’s her name?
How and where we met?
Have you applied for a tourist visa before? No
Have you traveled out of Nigeria before?
Have you been arrested before? No
Have you ever been involved in drugs? No
Can I see proof of relationship?
How many times she visited? Just once
When were you engaged?
Do you have kids
Does she have kids
Have you been married before
As she been married before
How old are you
How is your fiancé
Where do I work?
What kind of work do I plan to do in US?

Then she said c... read complete review

Had my interview yesterday at the lagos consulate 9/01/2020. Got their early enough for my 8:30 appointment, then went through the first security check, then asked to sit while he checked appointment letter and Ds260, then he wrote number on my appointment letter. We were asked to open the seal envelope (Medical Report), the man attending to us gave us a small slip to fill our info, after like an hour they selected some people to go into the consulate while others waited for like 3hrs before it got to my turn. entered though the security checks into the interview hall to wait in line for bio metrics. After completing my bio metrics they collected the medicals, birth certificate, marriage cert, police report, international passport and one passport photo then the long wait for like another 3hrs before i was finally called to window 19 for my interview.

after the pleasantries with male Co asked me to raise up my right hand to take the oat
