Easy interview. Only asked few information about spouse and where you intended to live in the US. Overall good experience.

It took about a total of three hours for the entire consular process. My mother-in-law and I waited outside across the street for my husband while he gave his fingerprints, our documents, and spoke to one of the immigration officers. The length of the time was probably due to the amount of people scheduled for interviews either that day or simply as a regular occurrence. My husband was asked about our marriage, how we met, how are marriage went, if our families approve. The officer was very stern, straight to the point, not very gregarious if you know what I mean - but he approved us. It took about 3 days to get called to pick up his temporary visa. All in all, everything was a success, just took a lot of time and patience (the theme of our visa journey in general, lol).

Appointment was at 8.45 am. I was allowed to enter the compound about 30 minutes early, made to remove the seal for the medical report, then went through security check. You will have to leave your bag at the security check with any electronic devices, and can only carry your documents from this point onward.
After waiting in the outside waiting area, we were called inside. There we were told to hand over the birth certificate, marriage certificate, police clearance, affidavit of support, previous year tax return, passport size photos and additional photos for proof of bonafide marriage. After checking that the documents were in order, the documents were handed back to us and we were told to only hand over these documents. I was told to be seated until my number was called.
Then I was called to another window where I handed over the documents and photos to a Nepali official, and I was given a pamphlet to read regarding domestic violence. I was told to wait again.
