First interview was to go over all the paperwork. Interviewer checked all documents and took what was needed. Second interview was supposed to be the next day but it was Mother's Day in Mexico and they were closed. The second interview went quickly, around 15 minutes, but the wait time was almost three hours long. Interviewer was curt but not rude. Asked lots of questions while looking at his screen. At the end of the interview, she was approved and given a green paper. She was advised the final permit would be available in a few days and they would send an email when it was ready. We hadn't been expecting that and had to find a hotel for a couple of days while waiting so make sure you factor that into your plans.

Two appointments for immigrant visa.
First to check your documents, and ammend the DS260.
Second appointment is the real interview.
All personel at the consulate were really helpful and professional.

The first interview took place on January 23, 2023. It went very well. My husband was only inside the consulate for around an hour or less. All they asked for was his passport, his birth certificate, our marriage certificate, and the police certificate. They asked some basic questions such as "Who petitioned you?" (He said the IO got confused when he said "esposo" as she was expecting "esposa" lol), "Where is your husband at the present moment?, and ask him to confirm my phone number, address, and the names of his parents. They gave him a blue slip with date and time of the next appointment, which was the next day.
On the second day (January 24, 2023) they only asked for the same documents as yesterday, along with my birth certificate. I was very surprised that they didn't ask to see the I-864 and any other financial documents, but I digress. They asked similar questions this time around, along with "Where did we meet?", "When did we get married?", and "Have you (benefic... read complete review
