*****We forgot to add that we also had to turn in two (2) US-passport sized photos at the interview!!****
We are going to do this review in both English and Spanish.
First, we felt very safe in Juarez. We stayed in a house through an AirBNB - the price was cheaper, we had access to great food, and we could walk to/from the consulate in less than 30 minutes.

Filed our I-130 petition at the USCIS Field Office at the US Embassy Mexico-CDMX the first week in December 2016. It was processed expediently, with notification that our packet was being forwarded to the Consular Services Section at the US Consulate Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico for pre-interview CR-1 Immigration Visa handling. Very professional and efficient experience.
