I arrived at the embassy at 6:40am for my 7am appointment. We had a bit of a snag because when we went in and we're checked off I was sent back out because I had my asthma inhaler in my bag which is prohibited (I never knew).
I was called to window 5 at 7:50am to submit my passport picture, passport, birth certificate and copy of my marriage certificate. She gave me a pamphlet to read about spousal abuse while we waited. We watched other people go to the windows repeatedly until we were called by name to window number 7. My heart was at my mouth lol. My husband held my hand while rubbing my back the entire time, we even chuckled about how he knew i was nervous while standing at the window. The gentleman that interview us was very polite.
Questions
1. Who filed for you?
2. He asked my husband who he was.
3. How did we meet?
4. Have I ever travelled to America?
5. What happened to my visitor visa?
6. Have you ever travel... read complete review

So my interview went on as scheduled, got there at about 6.30 for 7am appointment and finally got called for proper interview around 8.30am.
She asked: Who is filling for me, how we met, where and when we met, if I've traveled outside Jamaica before (she went further asking me to say where I've traveled to), she asked how often I visit my wife and she visits. It was pretty straight forward questions you should know and nothing out of the ordinary. Then she asked for my AOS and its supporting financial documents (Since my case was expedited straight to Consular few weeks after it got USCIS sent it to NVC, I didn't send any document to NVC.
She is the only on of the 3 COs that has her speakers loud and everyone could hear her in the sitting hall lol. She didn't ask for any pics or anyother supporting docs to
Yes they kept all my documents including my passport, they gave me back the original birth and marriage certificates and kept the copie... read complete review

The US only contact number is incorrect. The number asks you to buy a retail card on your credit card. If there is such a number for U.S. to use to contact the embassy. I would really like to know it.

We had an 8:30 AM appointment we got there around 6 AM they called people into the line based on their appointment time. you cannot bring any food items water lipstick make up lotion cell phones electronics anything like that in to the building. we were there from 8 AM to 12:30 PM we got a real nice lady she asked us how we met gave her her story so this showed her our pictures. Then her smile turned into a look of concern as she read something from my husbands file then she asked him has anyone else ever file for you before he said no she said are you sure again he said no then she asked about his other relatives that have been filed for before after making some notes into the computer she stamped his folder gave him a piece of paper about his rights when he reaches the US and then told us to give them abt two days to straighten out the misunderstanding for my husband has a common name Therefore he may be mixed up with someone else with the same name and date of... read complete review

My son and I got to the location at 7:10 am for our 7:30 appointment. After the routine screening we entered the embassy building at about 7:35 am. We were directed to a line where our passports were checked and our appointment confirmed. I was elated to see a familiar face at that desk. javascript:emoticon(' ') I was issued a number and instructed to sit on the inside at the immigrant section. My number was called around 8:15 am. When I got to the counter the CO and I exchanged greetings. He collected the necessary civil documents and my finger prints. I was told to return to my seat until I was called again. I was called back at about 9:15 am. My interview was sucessful and IV for my son and I were approved. We were out of the embassy at 9:45 am.javascript:emoticon(' ')javascript:emoticon(' ')
