Extremly nice staff up there.Everybody is very helpful and friendly.
We had two Interview dates since due to a missunderstanding I didn't have my son attend the Interview on April 9th,then a problem regarding the uncertainty of my son's Citizenship came up (his bio father is a USC and they had to make sure that my son has no claim to US Citizenship as of right now as that would make him ineligable for a K2) and everybody was very uunderstanding and the problem was solved on April 9th by the Consulate in Frankfurt,I obtained the needed no claim letter for my son on the spot and was given a new Interview date for today April 14th.
They already kept all of our paperwork and so I was just there to give my Fingerprints today, answer very few questions about my Finace (where and how we met and when we'll get married) and "show my son off".
We were in and out in less than two hours.
If you do apply with a K2 child in Frankfurt,MAKE SURE to bring that child regardle... read complete review

When I dropped off my documents the lady on the other side of the glass told me that the translation of my documents was not good enough, and that I would most likely be denied. We sat down and waited until I got my interview. The man that did the interview looked at the papers and the translation of the documents and told me that there was absolutely no problem with the translation. The lady that said that they were not good enough seemed to have a problem with people that speak and write better english than she does... (she is German)
The man told me I was approved, and wished me a happy life.

A very nice experience! It's all about having your documents and papers ready...make sure you have all which is required (police certs, birth cert,etc...).
The actual interview with the Consul was a very brief:
-"So how did you meet your fiance?"
-" We work for the same airline!"
-"Oh, ok...now the fingerprints, please! Thanks. You'll get your visa in about a week!"
That was it!
I spent the night before the interview at the Hotel Alleenhof, the rate was EUR 60.- including breakfast. The walk to the embassy takes about 15 minutes. It is no problem to leave luggage at the reception and to pick it up after the interview.
It was a lot easier than I thought it would be!
