Our visa appointment was scheduled for October the 14th at 9 am. My husband was with me and we decided to arrive at 7 am. We went directly to the number three line (but there wasn´t a line)A woman asked to see my appointment letter and they put a green sticker with the number 40 and told us to continue to window 2. We passed through security and went to the window 2. There was a line of about 5 people, but the wait was just five minutes. The lady behind the window asked for my appointment letter and gave me a plastic bag to put two photos with my name inside. She then told me to wait until my name was called. After 30 or so minutes my name was called by a Colombian woman over the speaker and i went to window 7. My husband stayed in the waiting area. I picked up the phone and the girl, who was very nice gave me back a copy of my marriage certificate, a copy of my passport and two photos from the papers we submitted with the DS-230. I had prepared the documents they required for the int... read complete review

My interview was at 9:00am September 16, 2011. I wanted to make sure I wasn't late so I got there at 8:05. I already knew that I needed to go to line 3 and there were 4 people in front of me. Once it was my turn a lady from the embassy asks if I had an interview I told her I did and showed her my letter she asked to see my passport she then placed a green sticker with the number 24 on my blouse and gave me a Domesa form to complete. I went thru security He told me to go passed the cafeteria to a table where I would find other embassy personnel. I showed that lady my interview letter and she gave me a folder along with instructions of what I need to place in the folder. I put everything on the list in order. I went back to the table and they reviewed my documents and told me everything was good and to have a seat and wait to be called. About 30 minutes later I was called to window 7 where this lady asked me if I came alone? I told her that I did. She asked where my husb... read complete review

Our appointment was for 9:00 AM but we arrived at like 6:30 or something like that. There were probably 20 people there already in 4 different lines outside the embassy. Nobody knew what line to get in. At first they only asked for the 7:00 appointments to get in line 3 first. We tried, but they made us wait. They finally called us to the front after about 30 min. We went through the security check. No cell phones with cams allowed so my wife had to check hers. You have to take your belt and jacket off also. Then we went inside and had to get in another line to receive a green folder in which we were instructed how to organize all our paperwork. We did this within about 10 minutes. Then we were told to wait. Then my wife was called to window 31 to answer some general questions. The lady working there asked my wife if I was there with her. She said yes, he is standing behind me. She said that when she is doing the other part of the interview...the real interview, that I should stay righ... read complete review
