You stand in lines, interview standing up outside in a large open area - underneath a roof

General Tips:
1. You must arrive one or two hours in advance to the appointment.
2. Be careful with the documentation you need to provide. Many people arrive to the consulate without the whole set of documents.
3. Interview takes no more than 10 minutes - at least that is was my case, but be ready to probe your relationship is bonafide.
4. Take an original copy of the petitioner birth certificate. They will ask for this document.
5. It is a long process, you must pass through 4 checkings before reaching the Consul. Be patient. I guess this is because there is a risk that individuals make any scandal in front of the Consul. Yes, I saw women screaming and shouting angrily because they didnt have the whole set of documents. They were filtered in step 1 and 2.

Hello everyone, I'm a beneficiary and I've a question. My petitioner should go to the interview in his country? I know that I'd attend my interview in Colombia, but what about him?
Thanks in advance.
