The wait for the interview was more than 3 hours.
The interview took 60 seconds.
Questions asked by VO-
1) How old are you?
2) How many time has your fiancée come to China; the last time?
VO was very friendly and courteous.
Now the real fun begins....

K1 visa delayed 84 days SOLELY due to Cathy’s admission she was still a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) which resulted in Administrative/ Additional/Further Processing. She works for the local party office but her membership is/was ‘non-meaningful’ and of a ‘rank-and-file’ nature with ‘no ideological commitment’. I knew there was no reason for denial and the visa would eventually be approved but the uncertainty of how long the wait would be was excruciating!
The VO had no problems with the relationship being bona-fide, my finacial condition and other requirements. It was just the CCP membership that caused the delay. All they wanted was for her to fax a 'detailed resume' listing her education, jobs and any publications written. After that, nothing. I had my Congressman's office make an official inquiry but I don't know if that made anything move faster.

The interviewer is very kind and friendly as my wife's description. He only ask her my name and what do I do? Then he asked my wife's career. Because my wife used to be a store mamanger of Omega watch in Shanghai and a store manager of Zhou DaFu store in Shanghai. The interviewer asked her why did not she wear Omega watch and put on some jewlries now. She said she already return to the company. The interviewer said you should ask your husband to buy some for you. Then he said congratulation, you passed.

Oh what a happy day! I can't believe my fiancee will now be able to fly back home with me after my next visit in September. Thank you to all you VJ members that gave excellent support and advice. Without all the great information on this site i'm not sure we would have been so sucessful.
I was not able to be in Guangzhou. It was a difficult time for my SO, alone in this big city without any friends or close family. (Until an encounter with another VJer's fiancee whos interview is upcoming. Good luck you two!)
Not having me there was difficult for her, but we managed to keep calm and collected and used the last couple of days to practice questions and such.
My only real concern was I only visited China 1 time. Another minor concern was my fiancee's English skill, it's decent but not great. However we had plenty of good evidence we communicated every day and quite well.
As per my fiancee, 6:45 walks out the hotel (Yang's), there is the ... read complete review

Very nice people, all went very well. We were well prepared with all documents including letters from family and friends. My fiancee had things in order and didn't waste the VO's time lokking for papers. VO was very nice and cordial.
