I had my F2A visa interview at Montreal. I want to share some important things to you guys,
First, Prepare your documents. Collect all documents requested by NVC, mentioned in interview letter. If you have any doubt about any document, just call NVC or review visa journey comments by members.
Complete your Medical in time.
register for the DHL/ Loomis courier. you have to bring the confirmation number with you in interview,
book an hotel near by US consulate Montreal.
Ex. Hotel Y montreal ( cheapest 60 CAD for a single bed)
Arrive earlier at consulate, take a cofee and feel fresh and ready for the interview,
US consulate, Montreal staff is so friendly and nice, Even security officers are also very kind.
Consulate doors will be open around 7.00 am depends on working hours, sometime they open late.

We followed all of the guides and stayed around the corner from the consulate at Le Square Phillips. Very nice rooms and was <5 minute walk to the consulate the morning of our interview. We arrived at 0630 and were the first, maybe 5 minutes later two other folks joined us. We were standing on the left, and for a brief bit the line split in two, but eventually they all came back to our side 
Like clockwork they turned the lights on at 0730 and we were the first into security, verifying our Loomis information / passport getting a sticker, and we went through the checkpoint. The maps are pretty accurate, we went down stairs to our left, then found our way to the chairs by the elevator. Only 6 folks at this time! Once inside the elevator, at 0800 on the nose, we moved to the back left and faced the opposing set of doors. Only one other person realized which way to face.

My fiance visa was approved yesterday!
Everything went very smoothly, thanks to all the information I had gathered from Visa Journey. I was outside the consulate at 6:45 and third in line. There was a lot less people than i expected, and only 4 of us went in at 7:30ish when they opened the doors and let us through security. Make sure you don't have any bags or anything. I went it with only a binder and folder with all my documents. Also had pack of tissues, cash, chapstick and ID card and that was fine.
They asked for your passport and loomis registration confirmation. (I also has my appointment confirmation on hand just in case but they didn't ask for it that time)
We then waited by the elevator until about 8:00. Once upstairs we waited in line a bit until a lady at one of the windows each gave us a ticket. Got C3. Went and sat down and almost immediately C1, C3 and C4 got called up to windows 1, 3 and 4 respectively. Which seemed unfair to the pe... read complete review

very friendly staff, short and sweet, just checked that all documents were complete, easy questions and seen promptly
