APPROVED!
My hubby's visa was approved today! A few keys things I wanted to share. My daughter and I were not allowed in the consulate with my hubby due to space issues.
As my husband and I have been together for over 10 years and have 3 children together, he was never asked for proof of relationship. He was asked basic questions:

We arrived at the consulate early enough to be third in line at the door. They opened the doors promptly at the opening hour and we immediately went through security (kind of like security check at the airport).
Past security we were directed to an elevator, accompanied by a suited man telling us which floor to go to. Once we got out at that floor, we were directed to the waiting room. We had to check in. Once we were called to the window we gave in a lot of paperwork and pictures, basically all the proof we had to verify our relationship (this included pictures, lease agreement, utility payments, engagement ring receipt, etc.).
After the window we waited a little less than an hour before being called to the interview room. We were asked to swear in, then sit back down. The lady asked us a few basic questions, how we met, when he proposed, what extra proof of relationship we had (which here included letters from friends and family attesting to our relation... read complete review
