APPROVED!
My hubby's visa was approved today! A few keys things I wanted to share. My daughter and I were not allowed in the consulate with my hubby due to space issues.
As my husband and I have been together for over 10 years and have 3 children together, he was never asked for proof of relationship. He was asked basic questions:
1) where did you meet?
2) when were you married?
3) who's (ex-wife's name)?
4) what venue was your wedding/ divorce held?
5) where does your wife live?

The biggest issue for my husband was the fact that he was arrested over 20 years ago for something minor. This arrest was brought up repeatedly throughout the interview even though this arrest was not on my husbands police record. He was there for almost 4 hours and was one of he last people because of this (he believes).

All in all, my husband said the guy interviewing was a nice guy. If you have anything to hide or anything that needs explaining, be prepared to discuss it. He said the interviewers seemed much more like "office staff" rather than the immigration guys you will come across at the border.

He asked where I lived and my husband said the states. He was not asked for any type of proof of domicile.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions!
