We had our appointment scheduled to 10am. We were there 10 minutes earlier. They walk us in, the staffer gave us some forms and the documents checklist (you must put all documents in the sequence listed). After some time, a 2nd staffer called us to a booth with bullet proof glasses and ran over all the documents. After over 3 hours wait, the consul was checking his computer for a while (probably looking at our documentation) and finally called us for the interview (we were the very last interview of the day!!!). After 3 or 4 questions like 'we did you meet?', 'where are you planning to live?", etc. He told us everything looked good and he would take some notes. At the end, he told us my visa would be printed in the same day but it would be available at ASC probably in the next week. The consul was very polite and smiley the entire time.

As the consulate in Brazil remains closed for almost a year now, I applied for an emergency interview as follows:
-Jan 5th: Requested an emergency interview directly through Yatri system that I had access to bc I had an interview date that was cancelled;
- Jan 13th: Received the approval for an emergency interview;
- Jan 14th: Consulate put me in contact with the doctor to schedule my medicals;
- Jan 27th: Completed the requested medical exams;
- Feb 1st: Had my doctor’s appointment;
- Feb 2nd: Consulate contacted me scheduling my interview;
- Feb 8th: Had CASV appointment and interview.
Passport was ready later the same day.
