The appointment was 8:20.
I gave my cell phone to the volume guard lady. (I paid R$10 for my cell phone)
They called people scheduled from 8am to 8:45am.
Went in, got xrays. Went through my purse and kept my mirror to be thrown away. I'm so happy to see you in the future.
A man checks the documents and hands over a sheet to put the documents in order (I had already put everything in order thanks to a post here in the group). Handed me a sheet to fill out about addresses I also wrote down a sheet with the hotel address I'm staying and my fiancé's address. I didn't take my fiancé's email, but he said it's fine and I left it blank.
Got called to a first desk for docs conference. She's already returned all the copies to me, she's just left with the originals.

There was only on consul attending all people and took about 4 hours to start my interview. The interview was short and I was approved

Tudo tranquilo. Minha entrevista estava agendada pra 7:30am cheguei 1h antes. A fila ja estava enorme. Demorou mais ou menos 1h pra minha entrevista, a consul perguntou se ja estive nos EUA, quem estava me convidando pra ir pros EUA, onde meu noivo trabalhava, ultima vez que nos vimos e quando iriamos casar. Respondi as perg e ela disse: seu visto foi aprovado.

Very few people, some spouses, fiances and US passports services I could notice. May of 2021, nice winter in Rio, interviewed by a very nice lady. She asked me about the tourist visa denied previously, my profession, how many times my fiance had been to Brazil to visit me (8 total), if the father of my son has agreed about him to live in the USA, and then she said everything was right, approved, I asked how long could it take because I had flight ticket for june 11, she said she would try to expedite it, looks like was not possible. Unfortunately the days that followed the interview I got two holidays, one Brazilian and one American in the same week, plus the delays because of the pandemic, plus I had to return to the Consulate to redo fingerprints for my son (as a child, he didn't need to be present for that, only for the interview) they only issued my visa and my son's almost one month after. Interview was quick. Requested additional financial documentation during intevlrview but gave verbal approval. Was told it would take 2 additional weeks after submission of the documents to get the visa but in reality the visa did not come for 3 months.
